The directors are Pawel Jelenski (Managing Director) and Dorota Darnell (Director). The organization could not function without the kind help of volunteers.
We have been a Polish non-governmental organization operating in Norwich (Norfolk Polonia CIC) since 2018, whose goal is to help Polish immigrants in everyday life, social affairs and education by organizing cultural meetings,
language training, and creative workshops.
We run a number of activities to support the Polish community in Norwich, and we also support Polish independent groups in Norwich. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most services are currently limited to the minimum.
Citizenship counseling regarding labor law, benefits, social issues and other
issues that cause problems in life in the UK. We provide advice via e-mail or
Messenger.
Open classes for people with communication problems in English but knowing its basics. The meetings are conducted with the participation of Native-Speaker and a Polish teacher. We run two groups and individual teaching.
Support group for people suffering from cancer. The purpose of the meetings is to exchange experiences and mutual support. Meetings are held once a month.
We run a Polish football team taking part in 6-a-side league matches in Norwich. Those interested please contact us (Facebook).
Alcoholics Anonymous and addicts support group, reporting to the AA PIK
London Intergroup. The group is open. Meetings are held every Friday on the
headquarters of the Center.
We run a collection of Polish books on various themes that can be borrowed on site at the Center. We currently have nearly 250 Polish-language books.
We cooperate with the Polish Saturday School in Norwich, which is located in
Sewell Park (NR3 4BX) in Norwich. The school is run by Monika Uramowska
(tel. 07908938731).
We also carry out activities supporting our statutory goals, such as supporting seniors, cultural events (including St. Andrew's Day) and the development of the Polish theater group.
We have been officially cooperating with the Consular Department of the Polish
Embassy in London since 2019 by organizing elections, passport duties and
cultural activities.
Due to COVID-19, we were unable to hold the presidential
election 2020 and take part in the Polish Heritage Days. However, we plan to
organize the 2nd Passport Standby in Norwich at the end of 2020.

We co-operate with Norwich City Council, MP Clive Lewis, the Consular Department
of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London, the Karkonoska Library
(City Library) in Jelenia Góra, the Polish JASIEK Store with the partner organization IPSO in Ipswich and the Polish Saturday School in Norwich.
Since the beginning of our activity, we have received grants from the sources
'Get Involved' Norwich City Council, 'Better Together' Voluntary Norfolk, and
the Consular Department of the Amabasada RP in London.
